CMS or Content Management System is an application or a platform that creators can use to create, collaborate and publish information for their audience to consume. CMS can be personalized for a brand or business where the system is created specifically for the business keeping in mind its needs and processes. On the other hand, there are other open market platforms such as WordPress, Google Blogger, HubSpot and others that can be used by individuals as their blogging or CMS platform.
Blog or blogging is the subset of a Content Management System. It is a space that individuals, businesses or brands can use to put out their thoughts, beliefs, marketing pieces and other such content. Blogs are usually created keeping in mind a certain topic or industry and it has all the relevant features that support the creator in generating, editing and publishing content on the web.
