With the end of first month of new year, Design’N’Buy achieved its first milestone with the launch of All-in-One Designer HTML5 Version 2.4. All-in-One Designer has already gained much interest from print service providers’ community due to its existing advanced features of web to print and ecommerce.
The major re-engineering in the new version has been done around the Print MIS and workflow features and focus has also been given to pre-press workflow for printers and enhancing end-user experience. For enhancing user experience, feature of quick edit has been introduced. It enables user to make changes in pre-defined template from product details page itself, without going into design studio. Introduction of flip tool, pick color module, masking support to full CMYK output redefines user experience.
Since design studio has been an integrated part of AIOD-HTML5, product team has done some makeover to give it also a new look and feel. The limitation of allowing image masking with shapes has been removed in 2.4 and now, it’s possible to upload any image and apply shapes to them. Users can also give effect to images and define them as monotone or duotone.
As major spin-off has been given in Print MIS and workflow, Get Quote (link) is an important feature which has been introduced in this version. With the feature of get quote, customers can send request of getting customized quote from PSPs. Admin can then review order and send them customized quotation for approval. Once approved by customer, he can place orders on behalf of customer. There are in-built options of sending reminder and follow-up mails and assign them to internal team for answering customers.
With drop-shipment and multi-vendor support, printers can manage orders without even having in-house capabilities for those orders. The admin can manage product specific vendors and assign them fix commission based on product. Admin has given full-fledged back end to configure vendors and on each order, notification mails with desired order details will be delivered to respective vendors. Vendor facilitated with individual login can view orders, change product status (shipped, processed, pending etc) and can check order and commission reports. Admin can also manage finances and balance sheet of individual vendors and add commissions to be paid or already paid manually to it.
