SVG

SVG stands for Scalable Vector Graphics and they are web-friendly vector files that are usually used to display two-dimensional graphics, charts and illustrations on an e-commerce platform. This format of vector files is used to make the web page and vector image responsive to different screen resolutions.

Unlike pixel-based raster files, SVG can be scaled up or down on a digital screen to any extent and yet it will not lose its resolution. For websites that wish to provide customers the ability to zoom in on products, illustrations or content, they can easily do it with SVG as it will not blur the content when zoomed and in fact, provide a clearer view of the contents to the customers.
