Sublimation Printing

Sublimation printing is a method of printing that involves transferring a design to fabric or material from paper by using heat and pressure. The heat is established between 350 and 400 degrees and helps change the ink particles into a gaseous state. Compared to other printing processes produces vibrant quality designs.

The heat of the oven or press opens the fabric’s pores while the pressure cools down the ink, turning it into a solid form. Next, the paper can be taken away gently. The best materials for sublimation printing are ceramic and polyester. It is a cost-effective way of producing personalized products like t-shirts and mugs.
