Shipping Address
The shipping address is the place where an e-commerce product will be shipped for delivery. There are many different ways a customer can purchase on an e-commerce platform. For instance, if a person is gifting a product to someone, they would want the product to be shipped to that address delivery and yet the billing address can be different.
Thus, to provide customers complete freedom to choose their desired delivery location, the shipping address is mentioned differently on an e-commerce platform. The shipping address can either be the same as the mailing and the billing address and they can also be different if the product is being ordered for someone else. Apart from that, in case the product is to be returned to the vendor, e-commerce platforms mention the shipping address of the vendors on the packaging as well.
