The Print Summit 2016 recently held on 29th January 2016 in Mumbai at Tata Theatre, NCPA, Mumbai. If you belong to print industry, you have to ask yourself why you were not there. Print Summit is an annual ‘Knowledge Seminar’ hosted by our Association (Bombay Master Printers’ Association – BMPA, since 2005) for stakeholders from the print-packaging and allied industries.
The audience of Print Summit ranges from commercial printing, package printing, labels, POP-POS, wide format printing, on-demand printing, corrugation, Web to Print, creative industry and ad agency. Personalities attending the conference are largely owners, decision makers, technologists, shop floor personnel, marketers, designers and IT & admin folks.
It was a day well spent with a great show and elite speakers sharing their expertise on current printing trends and technology.
The key take away from the show is –
1. All major OEMs have highlighted role of InkJet in future of print technology
2. Drupa 2016 is going to be all about innovations, automations and technology shift
3. How creating a balanced mind and body ecosystem can help companies motivate their workforce and grow
